More than 20 tuong (classical drama) young and veteran actors from Viet
Nam Tuong Theatre in Ha Noi will perform Phuong Thuoc Than Ky (Magic
Remedy) tomorrow in HCM City.
Actors from the Viet Nam National Drama Theatre will enact a new play
entitled The Mouse Daughter''s Marriage at Malaysia''s George Town
Festival in August.
Actors from the IDECAF theatre in HCM City will travel to the US to perform
Hop Dong Manh Thu (Devil''s Contract) from April 8 to 20, following the
success of several other Vietnamese plays performed there.
More than 50 comedians and actors across the country will appear on a TV
show Hoi Ngo Danh Hai (Gathering of Comedians) to entertain audiences
during Christmas and Tet (Lunar New Year) holidays.
Viet Nam Television (VTV) has made a lot of
investment on shooting projects abroad, with participation from various
foreign actors, despite current economic difficulties.
